Additional product information
Tri-EndoHelin is composed of dietary supplements that help decrease oxidative stress and inflammation, help improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels, support glucose regulation, and help decrease the risk of developing Metabolic Syndrome and cardiovascular diseases.
Hyperlipidemia is defined as an elevated concentration of blood lipids. The American Heart Association recommends that individuals have a total cholesterol (TC) level of less than 200mg/dl and LDL levels less than 130mg/dl to reduce cardiovascular disease risk.
Approximately 106 million adults in the United States have total blood cholesterol values of 200 mg/dl and higher, including 50.8 million men and 55.9 million women (American Heart Association, 2010).
Another 31.7% of men and 33.8 % of women have high LDL (low density lipoprotein) levels.
And alarmingly, 1 in 5 children in the US have unhealthy cholesterol levels.
High levels of triglycerides also increase the risk of heart disease and stroke.
The higher the triglyceride level compared to the HDL (high-density lipoprotein), the higher the risk for heart problems.
Both cholesterol and triglyceride levels that are increased are part of a cluster of symptoms that make up the Metabolic Syndrome (MetS).
Waist measurement of 40 inches or more for men and 35 inches or more for women
Triglyceride levels of 150 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) or above, or taking medication for elevated triglyceride levels
HDL cholesterol levels below 40 mg/dL for men and below 50 mg/dL for women, or taking medication for low HDL levels
Blood pressure levels of 130/85 or above, or taking medication for elevated blood pressure levels
Fasting blood glucose (FBS) levels of 100 mg/dL or greater, or taking medication for elevated blood glucose levels. Also, trending of FBS > 90mg/dl may be indicative of developing IR.
All these symptoms increase the overall risk of developing heart and blood vessel diseases and type 2 diabetes.
In the US, almost 35% of adults over the age of 50 have symptoms of metabolic syndrome (MetS).
