The essential nutrient Coenzyme Q10 is a necessary component of cellular energy production and respiration. It is a component of the mitochondrial electron transport system, which supplies the energy required for a variety of physiological functions. It also helps maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels and promotes arterial and heart health. CoQ10 is fat soluble so be sure to take it with a meal containing fat for optimal absorption.
